When I lived in the Maritimes and studied at Mount Allison University, I worked with Dr. Ian Mauro at the Human Dimensions of Environmental Change Institute as a research assistant.
Climate Change in Atlantic Canada was a multimedia research project that documented mitigation and adaptation efforts across the Maritime provinces. David Suzuki was a big help, and it went on tour for a while.
